What consumeraware doesn't like about The Greek Souvlaki Shack:
We order from here a lot. Usually the food is very good but yesterday it was not so good. We ordered fied calamari and a 2 schewer lamb meal. Couldn't eat the calamari, very tough and chewy. Someone must have forgotten the buttermilk. Asked for medium lamb and it came well well done. Tough and no flavor. Maybe we'll take a break and try them in a few months or so. View all feedback.
One of my absolute favourite take out places in all of Ottawa! The rice and potatoes are so yummy and the platters are great value for the food you get. The staff is always really lovely and efficient given all the orders they receive. Truly a hidden gem right downtown.
Hands down the best Greek food in Ottawa, and unbeatable prices! Great lunch and dinner place. The new server Miles is also really wonderful and made the experience even better. TIP: try the echolocate chip cookies for a small dessert!
The ingredients are undoubtedly fresh, and the service is impeccable! However, the taste of Greek food, being both salty and sour, is a bit unfamiliar to my palate. It’s worth noting that the flavors are authentically healthy!
Absolutely perfect! Experience was up to the legend!Not only the food is great and fresh, the service is sincerely awesome and friendly. I came a bit early to avoid the lunchtime rush…At first I was a little concerned with the quantity of fried squid in my appetizer but the rest of the meal was so perfect that I’m backtracking on this point.Staff is attentive and really brings this dining experience to the top level.Tried their Greek sour cherry pop and it was delicious, just as their Greek coffee in the end.The biscotti was made by the server’s grandma. I normally never include photos of staff in my reviews but these guys make the difference so I want you to recognize them.Will be back for sure, thanks again for enlightening my day.
Haven’t had better Greek takeout than this place for sure!!!! Souvlaki is BOMBBBB!Omnomnom!Also don’t skip on the cookie it’s REALLY GOOD! (I don’t even like cookies THAT much)Staff are always so kind too <33
