Wong's Palace Tavern Restaurant

When I found out, while planning a recent trip to Ottawa, that the the city is known for its uber-meaty open-ended egg rolls, I got all Veruca Salt about it

Have been here only once and got take-out To be honest it was not great unfortunately.

Our family recently tried this place and were so glad we did. My sister just had her 35 and wanted Asian food. Someone had heard good things, and it was excellent. This will be our new favourite Chinese eatery. They have a very extensive menu and everything was so fresh. Although we were a larger group we never felt rushed and felt very comfortable, lingering at the table.

We tried it because everything else was closed on Victoria Day. Well, what a great surprise. It was fantastic. We ordered the dinner for four and we were blown away. Steaming plates of great food kept coming and coming. You will not go way hungry. That is for sure.

Had dinner here and very much enjoyed our food and the service. Nice ambience, unusual to a lot of Asian restaurants (in my experience) there were windows uncovered to make it more inviting and welcoming as was the hots and the gentleman that waited on us. Would definitely go again when in Kanata/Ottawa
