What User dislikes about The Kitchen at Ourimbah RSL:
We haven't been there for months and thought we would try the new menu ....... We only had the daily special, sadly it was probably the worst food ever .... We waited 40mins for our food which was stone cold and not enough food to feed a child, hubby got one slice of Pork & not much else and I got one small boiled new potatoe cut into slices with my chicken (more the size of a sparrow) we were not surprised the Resta... Very friendly club restaurant is equal to most club restaurants most meals are good people need to remember that this is a club restaurant
More covid must be safe. we've been here for a while since it's a quiet environment. in the past we have commented that the cutlery is for all to collect and share, rather than wrapped in a serviette, as... most restaurants do. tonight, disappointing I saw a waitress who reveals food for a series of tables with a mask, but nase. when she served us, I suggested that she supply her nase with food. with an immunity compromised man, we were disappointed by the very relaxed attitude that diners showed. I had thought to discuss our minds with the receptor, but she had also revealed her mask on, but nase. sad- that was a place for us.
I've eaten here many times, and eating has lost its glamour. I had the hot seafood plate, the cold seafood was good, but the hot prepared tintenfish rings, salt n pepper butterfly and processed fish fillets were bland mush. that became the charalate. in the rest and dry, chips were also uninspiring. also large amounts of average food makes it not great worth.
We ordered the Lobster Tail but was served a Balmain Bug felt sorry for the waitress who was great as the chef explained to her that is is the same thing when I tried to have a word with the chef he he was not...available. Get a new chef
We stopped here on our way up the coast and were really impressed with the pretty decor and friendly staff. Our meals were tasty, generous and very well priced. My daughter was very pleased with the ice-cream and juice included in her meal. Kitchen closes...at 8 so just make sure you claim the ice-cream before then:
