No shortage of places to eat in the area, but this must be one of the very best. Nice ambiance, very quiet on night we visited, but apparently very busy at weekends . No surprise, as food was very good with generous portions and good variety and price of menus. Charming staff and very helpful. Wine list a bit over-priced, but otherwise an excellent dinner. Would definitely return.

I was in Paris this Sunday June 3 and had a reservation at this restaurant that is distant about 30 miles from Paris. I rent a car to be there at 1,30 pm the time of my reservation. When I arrived there at 1:15 pm the maitre d'hotel came crying very nervous saying they were fully booked. I said I had a reservation and he said he had no more table available at the restaurant neither outdoor. I insisted very calm and easily that I had a reservation and he said crying OK I will find you a table and showed me a table completely separated from the restaurant in a small room near the kitchen I guess. I said no because I have booked a table at the restaurant and he said that is your table! (very excited and speaking angry). I said bye bye and left the restaurant. I did not eat and I went back to Paris driving another 30 miles.

THE HORROR ! COCKROACH RUNNING ACROSS THE PLATE!! AND FOOD POISONING!!! A friend took me to this restaurant that I didn't know. The restaurant presents well, the menu is really tempting. 1/ First the hot smoked salmon! I am the only one of us to have eaten a salmon canape which was at room temperature and which gave me serious food poisoning the following days because I ate nothing else. 2/ then we were served our very well presented starters and there!!! A COCKROACH on the plate coming out of the decoration!! We left immediately!! The owner was very disingenuous because she told us that it was the first time in 27 years except that by searching Google reviews, cockroaches running around on plates and food poisoning are very common in this establishment!! Lots of people were affected and visibly sick!! So don't be fooled by the presentation of the dishes or the lies of the staff. It’s beautiful but the hygiene and state of the kitchens must be catastrophic!!! I was sick as a female dog! And I will never set foot there again!! When the next table heard us talking about cockroaches (and I remained discreet without making a scandal) and saw it running across the plate, the gentleman turned pale because he and his wife had just finished. Frankly, with a menu at €58 it’s inexcusable!!! A shame !!! I am attaching a nice photo with our surprise guest!
