Yummy Yummy Chinese - Ozone Park

I must admit that I am generally not a fan of Chinese fast food, but the General Tso's chicken at this restaurant is the best I have ever had in NYC. They also offer a daily special for $4.95 which I highly recommend trying – it's a great deal.

The food at this restaurant was terrible. It tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave. The rib tips were very fatty and had a lot of bones compared to other Chinese restaurants I have tried. The chicken was not fresh and was very chewy. The rice seemed undercooked or reheated in a microwave. Additionally, they were stingy with their sauce, only filling the container halfway. Other restaurants fill their containers to the top. I feel like I was given leftovers from other customers or another order that got canceled. I would give them zero stars if I could, and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant a few weeks ago after they reopened following quarantine, and I noticed a significant improvement. They had installed a clear barrier for protection and all employees were wearing masks. The menu had been updated and the overall cleanliness of the establishment seemed much better than before. I have been ordering food from here for years and as always, it is delicious. I highly recommend dining here.

It is our go-to, do not want to cook tonight, source of delicious Chinese food. the staff is warm and friendly.
