I tried the Carmel Vanilla Latte, strawberry cheesecake, and some fruit pastries during my visit. I recommend opting for a large coffee instead of the regular size because the regular was a bit smaller than I expected. The coffee was quite strong with a rich, robust flavor. The first time I tasted something from Slice O Life Bakery was 20 years ago when my mom brought their peach poppyseed cake to our family reunion. I hadn’t thought about it since then until my daughter and I visited Palisade for the Lavender Festival today. Instead of attending the festival, we decided to head straight to the bakery! We tried their cream puffs, éclairs, and chocolate cherry cupcake, and they were absolutely delicious! I also asked one of the staff members if they still offer the peach poppyseed cake, and they do it as a special order, so I’ll be calling soon.
Stopped here on our way to Fruita and got iced coffees. They were the BEST iced coffee we have had!
