I added shrimp for an extra charge, thinking I would get the very common dish Bun Tom Thit Nuong, cold rice noodles with shrimp and pork. I was very surprised to find the pork missing. With only shrimp, the dish was not really satisfying.

We ordered seafood soup for 20.95 , which came with mussels and shrimp. It was pretty bland and a bit hard to scoop with a laddle because of the serving bowl it came in. We also ordered pineapple fried rice which was 22.95. On their menu is says it is serve with a pineapple bowl. It was served on a regular plate. The portion size was small and probably had four chunks of pineapple. The entrees were served first before the soup and salad. We were almost done with entrees by the time the soup and salad came out. Service can also be better. The server did not ask how we were doing or how the food was. He was just dropping off or orders to our table. I don’t think we will be back

The food is so good here, exciting rich flavors and great service. Love the purses, soups and curry dishes. Everything is good here, the fried bananas that are immersed in coconut are so delicious. If you are looking for something special in the desert, Le Basil should be on the top of your list.
