What Elena V doesn't like about Le Basil:
We ordered panang curry with chicken and with beef. Somehow the chicken one was pretty tasteless. Some shrimp in Spring rolls appetizer was undercooked. And it was pretty expensive. Not impressed. View all feedback.
We arrived at lunch. close to el paseo. great service and all vegan food was super fresh.
I wish that would be a vegan place so I could give it 5 stars. I love this place.

I'd give it FIVE stars but can't because I'm not a full vefan. We had tofu salad wraps (they were HUGE too and the veggie tofu soup. DELICIOUS!!!
We felt very comfortable eating at Le Basil because one of the owners is vegan so they were very knowledgeable about vegan options. Menu items are labeled V for vegetarian or can be made vegetarian, most of which can be done vegan. We had the pad Thai, pad see ew, fried rice and yellow curry, all with steamed tofu as the protein. It was all delicious.
