Nice ambience in the courtyard with 2 huge palm trees, nice atmosphere thanks to table lights; fancy food but: poor uncoordinated service, no greeting or reception when you enter the location; why do Dolce have to be with caramelized capers and Fior di Latte with olive oil and pepper? Location spettacolare, in mezzo al nulla, senza nessun tipo di inquinamento luminoso. Cibo spettacolare e servizio impeccabile. Forse poco convincente il crudo dry aged, in rapporto al prezzo e agli altri antipasti. Il pan brioche era spettacolare, e il pescato del giorno (per noi, ieri, era spada) era veramente buono. Qui da Isca il pesce è frollato, è una cena pensata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Ogni boccone è un viaggio intenso in milioni di sapori diversi. We thank you for the beautiful evening, it is an experience we will repeat!
I don't question the excellent raw materials and the thought behind this restaurant, but I found everything a little too pretentious. the dishes in the menu are well studied and proposed also with attractive names and so far everything is fine. My partial disappointment is given by the really demanding portions, the presentation too simple and the final goto that has a little disregarded expectations, especially in sweets. I say all this compared to an important price, almost from the starry restaurant. a dinner full of appetizer, main course, dessert and wine is about 70/80 euros per head.
Never eaten such a good brain! nice team and beautiful atmosphere, my favorite of all pantelleria!
