Au Pied de Fouet - Paris

I knew the Pied de Fouet street of Babylon well to go there regularly. This is just as nice flat level, at a very good price ratio, although the portions are slightly reduced compared to the street of Babylon. On the other hand, we had two dinners, only upstairs, and the manager placed a family next to us, but really stuck, while the whole floor was deserted. Everyone was uncomfortable (the urinal syndrome when people are too close in an empty space) and because of that we left before dessert. We did not understand this gesture, maybe it was easier for the service (the same thing in a full restaurant would not have bothered us). Outside it was good.

Nice cozy restaurant where you squeeze together with other people for dinner. I had the pate which was a bit gamey for me, the confit du canard which was dry, and tarte tatin which was excellent.

Absolutely everything you look for in a Parisian bistro. First of all, located in a quiet street in the 7th Arrondissement and equipped with a terrace, perfect for a dinner on a summer evening on the left bank… The place does not take reservations, but no problem, there will always be a place for you. You will generally be warmly welcomed with a complimentary drink in a small room with a rustic and welcoming setting. The cuisine is simple but perfectly executed for a price far from the ideas we have of Parisian prices, for less than 30 euros, you will eat and drink very decently. A card with little choice but exemplary mastery. And that's what we love in a Parisian bistro. The modest size of this establishment offers a friendly atmosphere, the opportunity to sometimes even share a meal and a drink with your table neighbors. In summary, delicious cuisine, warm service, a friendly setting and atmosphere... Go for it, but keep the address very secret ;

Lovely little restaurant in the Saint Germain area. Good atmosphere and delicious food (especially the duck)
