Sat with some friends ate and drank, wonderful food! Service was excellent, people watching was a at a premium. Would gladly return again may just do since we have a week left! View all feedback.
What Denis Charrier doesn't like about Le Tibourg:
despite its great location, this caffe is to be avoided! waiting for her drink and her meal was too long. the meal was tasteless and cold. the manager is a real idiot and aggressive with customers. there are better opportunities in the neighbourhood View all feedback.
Already 45mn were waiting to order a simple bottle of wine... Really poor service... Masochistic address. Another 20mn to get the right number of glasses... Run away if you can... Try the dandys rue des lombard.
The location is brilliant, the rest is acceptable but nothing special. The standard red wine is below mediocre, but as a plus they do have afflingen beer on tab :-)
We visited around 3 o'lock on a very busy Sunday and opted for the 21 euro brunch, which consisted of coffee or tea, pastries, juice, pancake with maple syrup, smoked salmon, anchovies, crayfish, salad, scrambled egg and sauteed potatoes - just yummy. Followed by a choice of dessert - very good value and very good food.
Had a relaxing few drinks and some light food at this great restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere. No pressure from the wait staff. Some nice outdoor tables with space between them for a change. Also excellent partitions to break up the noise from people around and about. Went back a few times in the evening just to people watch!
Food ok, Service ok, but they serve food until late and that worths a review Go for canard and chevre chaud salad, will not go wrong
