Beautiful cafe/bistro , perfectly located just outside the Dupleix metro station. Delicious croissants and crepes. We stayed for 3 nights in the area and we tried their breakfast twice. Nice and helpful staff. We also had dinner one night, tasty French cuisine. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood. View all feedback.
What Papalotillo doesn't like about Bistro Dupleix:
Don’t eat here. Service was unprofessional, food was mediocre, my wife couldn’t chew her steak as it was harder than a shoe sole. The specials of the day were not offered to us! The waiter just said “I forgot”! And after that there was a scene with an intoxicated couple, not the fault of the restaurant, but they didn’t call the police or stopped the violence! Bad, bad, bad. I enjoyed the chicken and fries. It was 16 euro which I felt was good value. They let me charge my phone which was an added bonus. The staff were nice enough. I would recommend this place to everyone other than to the earlier reviewer who, from what I can gather, seemed to have admitted to theft.
On a really hot early Saturday afternoon my twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping along Boulevard De Grenelle when we chanced upon Bistrot Dupleix and what a great find. Located in the shadow of the elevated Dupleix Metro Station ,walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here ,the interior is pure Parisian chic ,a great looking serving bar ,period features ,great decor and furnishing and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the always busy and bustling Boulevard De Grenelle ,it's a great cafe bar to chill out in. We stood at the serving bar were a very pleasant member of the bar team served us beers from Kronembourg Brewery 1664 beer and these beers were served iced cold and sparkling ,we kicked back ,chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. A big fan of this famous French beer ,it's a golden,light,hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste and just so easy to drink ,when this beer is served freezing cold as in this bar it's such a delicious beer indeed. We really enjoyed our beers in this bar before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Bistrot Dupleix we were totally impressed. Bistrot Dupleix is easy to locate along Boulevard De Grenelle . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,6.30am till 12.30am. Well worth checking out if you're in the 15th Arrondissement .
So, the other night while riding the metro avec ma cherie and cousin visiting from Barcelona, our train stopped indefinitely at the Dupleix station,
This place is so amazingI originally chose it because it was the closest to my hotelHowever, it was the best food I had here.
