I really enjoyed the dinner here with my family. A 14 euros menu with entry, main course, dessert and drink (starting with an welcome drink as offer). Food that makes us think we are at home. The girl that was serving us was very helpful and kind. Give it a try in this gem on the nice neighborhood of Butte-aux-Cailles and you wont be dissapointed. View all feedback.
What RallyWise doesn't like about Brasserie L' Esperance:
The Bonne Cave restaurant next door had disappeared, so we booked a table in the l'Esperance next door. We were recieved by a very friendly young lady who did a very good job serving eight tables. There was a three course menu with 4 to 5 starters, mains and deserts to choose from, for only 13 euro's. We went for a la carte: very nice indeed. Only the french fries should have been cooked a bit longer. The pichet of rose was decent enough. All in all very nice for a very reasonable price! The best was the lovely very French atmosphere and the charming lady serving us.
The prices were decent and the food was delicious! Would go back again. It was across from our hotel Saint Charles.
I first dined here in 2009, so decided to try it again to see if it is still giving outstanding value for a 3 course meal with a drink, and I'm pleased to report that IT IS ! The meals won't be the best quality you will try in this city, but the value is superb ! And if you'd like to watch live sport on the TV, in their snug little bar, afterwards, then there's a low-key evening out which would be unique in these parts ! Travel tip: Metro, line 6, Corvisart station, is your best connection, I feel . . .
Boss super nice, couscous house excellent and small whisky offered by leaving! Top
It's not big kitchen but the value ratio is efficient. The small terrace is pleasant and the pleasant and smiling service. It's nice. A few different beers. A good little raft. The view from the terrace on the murals is nice
