Authentic and fresh sushi (I had toro and anago), and flavorful beef on the grill. A delicious meal, in a spacious room. Highly recommended for those looking to get a Japanese food fix! View all feedback.
What Christopher K doesn't like about Jipangue:
We chose to eat here based on TripAdvisor reviews. As we entered, it seemed that there was a Japanese chef behind the sashimi counter, and we were attended to my a woman who appeared to be Japanese. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst Japanese meals I have had. I live in Asia, and am used to much better tasting Japanese food. Hard to find an authentic Japanese restaurant in Paris actually, this one did it. Like raw calf liver and ankimo, they nailed it. BBQ was great too.
Excellent surprise! We were looking for another sushi restaurant in the area, but it was closed. We found Jipangue by accident and the food was delicious!
Sushis not bad because the products are fresh but baked and in too small quantity. It's funny to be in a restaurant where we seem to be disturbing.
We fell by chance in this barbecue restaurant but like Korean barbecue, it is very rare to find a Japanese barbecue. Suitable, clean, simple decoration to Japanese. The dishes are expensive but fresh. a large beef (it's just a plate of carpaccio of beef without accompaniment) for barbecue for 17 euros (it's not worth a good entrecôte bde 180 g.) it is necessary to count about 25 to 30 euros to eat properly but it is not worth a good korean barbecue restaurant to Montparnasse. It's a faith, not two for me.
