This place has EVERYTHING. It is a department store, gourmet market, restaurant all in one. I found it to be a bit overwhelming, probably because I decided to come on a Friday evening when everyone else in the city seemed to be there...It is a...gourmet food market, so it is a little on the pricey side, but it has everything you could need! This is one of my must stops in Paris. We had lunch at the truffle spot. Lots of places to get prepared food, restaurants, or goods and gifts. They have a great chocolate collection.
I always knew that la grande epicerie was much, much, overpriced, but in the run of the years there were certain products that I could not find anywhere else. I have suffered too often for what I was looking for. today I returned to the first time in the old age when I knew I could find it in a piquilless glass. (these are small paprika from the number baskisch.) Now, I went out of the load after I had paid 7,50 euro a glass for my piquillos, and right next door I noticed that a very large Carrefour market had opened, and it looked great inside, so I took a look. omigod! it was like the perfect competition for la grande epicerie, except the preisen. I found the same piquiillos, for example at 2.30 euro a glass. let us guess we are no longer seeing money to la grande epicerie for the same products you find right next door!

One of the best special food markets in the world, this place is also filled with history: designed and drawn by gustave eiffel, this is an inevitable visit jn paris!
