Taverne Grecque - Paris

Hard to believe this place can stay in business in a city where the restaurant competition is intense. Food is okay, atmosphere is okay and the service is downright TERRIBLE. We had the surliest waiter I think I've ever had in my life. Sure, it's right in the heart of touristville and most patrons won't return anyway, but wholy schmoly... any of the nearby falafel takeaway shops are 10x better. Stay away.

Nice Greeque place in the centre of Paris. Food is really greque and waiters speak at least 4 languages. They spoke Russian,French and English. We took Menu for 12,80 Euro and Menu for 17,8 Euro. Difference just in the size of portion and a bit different plates, but Sadzhiki and Meat you can find in both. Also patticerie is really delicious.

Nice reception with our server, the other was a little bit more grumpy. the meal went very well with a good value of quality price. We were just disturbed by very noisy table neighbors. The whole restaurant could have enjoyed it. I recommend this restaurant for those who love Greek cuisine.

The decor is typical and it is worth the trip; the boss and the waiter are welcoming. After the explanations needed for us, not initiated from Greek cuisine, we chose a complete menu. Inputs, dishes, desserts are copied and based on fresh products. we chose a local wine basket, at an interesting price, with a good value price. A good surprise in the month of August, for tourists, who want to eat well!
