A small restaurant with a big heart ! Somehow l'alchimiste succeeds in mixing traditional french ingredients (Lamb's jar, blood sausage, duck confit.. with oriental (northern african I believe, but not sure) flavors and spices. Headed back to a favorite place only to be disappointed to find that what it used to be was no more. Kitchen seems to be just a pass-thru station for ready-made imports, and the wine list simply does not exist. Card on the table says...thing like Bordeaux Macon Rhone etc. That's all. Excellent restaurant. A pig dish. Boss at the top of the summit. You have to book so much is known and small. 20/20
a very small bistro but large, very rich and gourmet dishes, all with a warm and smiling welcome. I recommend! Think about booking.
