This restaurant is located in the 11th arrondissement and is run by chef Inaki Aizpitarte. The menu is inventive and experimental, with dishes like pig's head with horseradish and roasted pigeon with figs. The dining room is minimalist and modern, with white walls and a large communal table. The wine list is extensive, with a focus on natural and organic wines. What Sofía Arroyo doesn't like about Le Goncourt:
Very average set. First of all, very noisy place. Then the tables are very close to each other (30cm max), and the sommelier walks in the room the mask under the chin.... Finally, a Pouilly Fuissé at 70€ indicated as a 2016 vintage is brought to us, and turns out to be a 2017, except that it was not opened in front of us... In short, customer respect (or concern) is very relative. The dishes are pretty good, but the... View all feedback.
A great experience, a relaxed team, really professional and listens to the client. The menu (8 dishes) is a trip! Each dish is a pleasure of the eyes and the palace. Bravo for concept, quality and originality.
A really nice gastronomical experience in a minimal place. (Translated by Google) A very nice gastronomic experience in a minimal place.
The food was very good. I haven't eaten so long. The 10-course menu was very well balanced, servings were of perfect size. The service was very fast but extremely friendly and courteous. The atmosphere seemed a little depleted at the beginning, but the food and the good atmosphere in the store definitely compensated that. 100% recommended, if you are in Paris you should not go through this shop!
My recent experience at Le Châteaubriand in Paris was nothing short of phenomenal. From start to finish, every aspect of our meal was exceptional, and I would not hesitate to give this establishment a well-deserved five stars. The service at Le Châteaubriand was impeccable. Our servers were knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly hospitable. They took great care in guiding us through the menu and wine pairing, and their passion for the food was evident in their recommendations and explanations. The food at Le Châteaubriand was a true masterpiece of culinary art, featuring a variety of expertly prepared dishes that showcased the best of French cuisine. Each course was perfectly balanced with flavors and textures that danced across the tongue and lingered in the memory. Overall, I cannot recommend Le Châteaubriand highly enough. This is a truly exceptional restaurant that delivers Michelin-quality food and service. Whether you are a local or a visitor to Paris, this is a dining experience that should not be missed. Five stars, without a doubt. (Translated by Google) My recent experience at Châteaubriand in Paris was simply phenomenal. It was okay. Absolutely not worth the 300 and we didn't even do the wine pairings which I heard were overrated and would have added another E130 to the bill. I read so much about this place and the chef but was completely underwhelmed. I get that it is experimental and I did like the bistro vibe but the service was mediocre and the courses even more so. Cheese puffs, tiny prawns (shell on which as a cook is simply an excuse for lazy prep work), a shot of ceviche juice, about a half of a scallop, shot of beef broth with tiny pesto raviolis, a cold seafood salad that was alright, St. Pierre with cabbage (very good, best course), decent chicken, and the egg yolk dessert. Overall meh. Mediocre plating on all. It's funny because I spent the same amount at Le Médicis in Blois and had an exponentially better experience. I guess that's what a Michelin star means. Sad that this place is so hyped as there are infinitely better restaurants in Paris. Go to Frenchie Bar Vin instead. (Translated by Google) It was not bad.
