two stars for the location and the view over paris through one of the montmartre roads. everything else sucks. the menu was very touristy, the half of our package took some dishes that were boring. but what my attention really got was the fact that waitress seemed very. with me and my colleague only ordered. a bottle of wine! as mentioned the half of our package ordered meal. we were only thirsty, so we asked for the... Good staff, speak English and white more. the place is stoney and the food is good. good prices too.
We dropped in for a lunch at this very well located cafe/restaurant close to the Seine and Notre Dame. We were initially served very quick, with a welcoming waiter. The food was unfortunately not very good, something we told the waiter. From there on, the...service level dropped to a freezing minimum, and we veer simply ignored. We had to ask for the check three times. Needless to say no tips from us. I think there are many better lunch options in the latino quarter.
This is a resturaunt with basque food. the appetizers were excellent. the gin and the tonic were different with vanilla beans and mint leaves. very tasty.
Two stars for the location and the view over paris through one of the montmartre roads. everything else sucks. the menu was very touristy, the half of our package took some dishes that were boring. but what my attention really got was the fact that waitress seemed very. with me and my colleague only ordered. a bottle of wine! as mentioned the half of our package ordered meal. we were only thirsty, so we asked for the wine. the waitress tried to convince us first when she misunderstood the job, and then looked at how we had ordered 0.5€ snack and had spent 3 hours there. that was really weird and felt uncomfortable. I know some better places in this neighborhood, so small chances that I'm back.
What a fantastic lunch. 12 Euros per person for a buffet starter, choice of main meal, cheese course and dessert, followed by coffee and including half a litre of wine. We could not fault the service from Baptiste, who does speak English as well. We...took two children (3 and 7), and were charged just 7 Euros for them and they got apple juice (instead of wine Highly recommended!!
