We recently returned from a European get-a-way. While in Paris we dined a couple of times at L'Envie. We found this to be a really nice local cafe. The food was good, the service was good, and the house wines not too bad. View all feedback.
What Alexa Russell doesn't like about L'Envie:
L'Envie serves typical French food with a couple of pasta dishes as well. The food is good especially the charcuterie and cheese platters, and prices are decent. Our service was friendly, but they managed to come no less than times with something we...didn't order and they forgot one order so that obviously drags the place down. Right across from the Pernety station, this modest cafe/restaurant offers good value for its lunch formule. I had the artichoke mixed green salad for the entree and the grilled salmon (pave du saumon) for the plat principal. The total was EUR 14.50. A little bread...basket with four slices of baguette is included as was the refreshing carafe d'eau which was quite cold.
Came close to the kitchens closed, yet prepared an amazing entrecote and baked camembert. the personal was really nice! definitiw recommended. probably a bit overlooked since right next to the subway. came on a week night, great experience.

The eating tasted very good and the website was very cozy, the only negative side was the middle price class.
Petit café ce matin. La serveuse était sympa et souriante, le cadre joli mais pour les tarifs il y a un abus très net. 6€30 le double expresso crème. Le double simple annoncé à 4€10 ... donc 2€20 en plus pour la "crème" (environ 10ml) ... faut pas abuser ! Merci pour le tarif Champs-Elysées
