Feels like that little place discovered in the alley that wants to be either hugged or slapped. Performs well when necessary. Became my favorite place because it was very near to where I lived for my year in Paris. My supervisor initially thought recommending this place would make me blush. After 4 months studying the architecture of monasteries throughout France, I treated her to dinner here to thank her for her good eye, good taste, and blunt advice unencumbered by niceties. The food I remember as good but not amazing... I just really liked the whole dining package here, good value, good food, good service, good ambience for great farewell conversation. Without underwear... That is what she said. It is no reason to try a restaurant, but I loved this bistrot with a memorable name. She never made me blush but she almost made my cry. Twice.
I 'm wavering between a two or three star, but i think im in the mood for the two. I was attracted to this place because it looked cool from the outside and because of its name (right by bastille! . It turns out that even though their cocktail happy hour is between NOON and 11pm, the place is still not that great. Most of their cocktail are around 4-5EUR but depending on what you order, you would be really disappointed. My first drink was a non-alcoholic mix (in the drinks menu?! and my second drink was a disgusting wine that tasted like it 's been sitting out for way too long. My friends drinks were okay. The funniest part is when you order a drink from a long list from the menu, the bartender literally reads the ingredients from the menu and just pours whatever the menu says... At any rate, i was not impressed.
For the money this is a very good restaurant. The wine and beer prices are fantastic, the neighborhood is happening and the food is tasty. You cannot go wrong.
The restaurant bistro les sans asttes is located in the rue de lappe, in particular, frequented at night by bars, pubs and themed restaurants. this place is authentic, since it dates back to 1900, when it was also a hotel. the name remains a guide to the French revolution of stagnation. this place has preserved all its authenticity for its traditional French decoration and cuisine. It has in the atmosphere of the old Parisian bistro and has preserved all its freshness. is open every day, even on Sundays until 23:00. there is a small outdoor terrace. subway: low (lines 1 and 8)
