What Carter Ryan doesn't like about Matière à...:
the dishes were at the height of the expectations, and (although the appearance of the restaurant) fairly consistent. we opted for an entry menu, fish dish, meat dish and dessert or cheese. I highly recommend you the zucchini handcuff! otherwise the service was suitable, no more. conviviality is not at the rendezvous but well-educated and harmonious plates in the mouth, yes. This Paris newcomer has a tasty future ahead of it. We ate well on our recent Paris trip but Matière à won us over.
I really wanted to try Matière à during our one week in ParisWe arrived 15 minutes early and politely waited for them to open.
Very nice lunch experience at this new little place near the canal.
