What Zacharie Riviere doesn't like about Shanghai epoque:
We had our early dinner here consisting of beef noodles, bok choi vegetable and fried rice with chicken plus coffee and tea. The restaurant was quiet at the time and the waiters had much time serving us. The food was okay and atmosphere just nice for relaxing. The location is not so strategic as it is located facing the Esplanade. It could easily be missed. It is an ideal spot to look for Chinese food. View all feedback.
This venue is very close to the hotel where we stayed so one evening after a very long day walking and sight seeing we walked by it and decided we were hungry for Chinese food so went in. Our first meal there was very good. I had lemon chicken and fried rice for the main and to start some steamed pork dumplings. My husband had the duck and steamed dumplings as well along with fried rice. This meal was extremely good and inexpensive so we went back a couple of days later. I am afraid our next dinner there was not as great. My ;husband had the duck again and was happy however I changed to almond chicken which was not great. So I think it is kind of the luck of the draw. The food appears to be prepared freshly as there was a bit of a wait so I can say it can be good but not sure I would recommend it. They do take away so you could order and take something back to your hotel if you wish.

This place is very close to the hotel where we stayed so an evening after a very long day to foot and sights, we saw from him going and decided that we were hungry for Chinese food, so went in. our first meal there was very good....I had lemon hugging and fried rice for the pornstar and some steamed dizzy dumpling to start. my man had the duck and steamed dumplings and kicked rice. this meal was very good and cost-effective, so we went back a few days later. I'm afraid our next dinner wasn't so great. my ;husband had the entree again and was happy, but I changed to a mandelhühne, which was not great. I think it's kind of the luck of the draw. eating seems to be freshly prepared as it waits a bit, so I can say it can be good, but not sure I would recommend it. they take with them to order and return something to their hotel if they want.
