The very best thing about the experience was the food. Every bite was delightful. I ate lamb and my friend ate salmon. We had the chocolate tart for desert and I've never had better; it was melted chocolate in the perfect crust that was served with...vanilla ice-cream. The atmosphere was not quit as good. The menu was written on the wall and was tricky to read because I was seated with my back to it in a very tight sp... View all feedback.
What Corinne Huet doesn't like about La Cantine du Troquet Daguerre:
Went there for dinner with a friend. The food is of good quality and well executed. However the place is quite small and you often hear your neighbor more than your friend ... the price is ok. Overall nothing to complain but nothing extra neither....We shortened the dinner to go to a terrace and be able to .... talk to each other ... View all feedback.
Our french friends invite us there for dinner. We was pleasantly surprised about prices and quality of food! It delicious! Fish was just perfect, and duck too. Only with this shell fish (long) we had problem, because it was not good clean from sand, Sure,...we come back again, when we come again in Paris!
Thankfully we arrived early, as within half an hour of being seated, the restaurant was full of eager diners and it 's not possible to pre-book. The menu is extensive and caters to most tastes and dietry requirements. Our meals were good, but we had to...send back our dishes to be warmed as the meat was cold. The ile flottante was magnificent! The ambiance was jovial, although I found the lighting to be too bright and 'flouresent '.
A nice table but you can't book alas.Beautiful classic dishes, pig ears are recommended for lovers. very correct wine choice.
An inevitable address for bistronomy lovers. a real delight from the entrance to the dessert. a big thank you to nicolas for his welcome and his smile.
The restaurant is small, and in the evening one sits almost on each other - however, since almost all the establishments are Parisian. but the food was very tasty!
