We really only order a few dishes here and always takeaway. There never seems to be many people in the restaurant when we visit.... so they must do a good takeaway business! We enjoy the Choo Chee chicken, the pad Thai and the fried rice. Nothing else really has stood out for us on the menu but it does have fair prices for the food you get here. View all feedback.
What Myrtice Collins doesn't like about Pira Thai Cuisine:
My partner and I came here for a warm lunch. Restaurant was empty but we still gave it a go! Staff was busy chatting. After I got their attention, we ordered a seafood pad thai and tom yum chicken noodle soup. The pad thai came out first, which was well presented and tasty. It was full of flavour but not much seafood. My tom yum chicken noodle soup came out with NO NOODLE. Really??? I told the staff to change it, as... View all feedback.
Our fave Thai place in the area. It's fresh, tasty and the Choo Chee Chicken is delicious. We always get takeaway so cannot comment on any of the service issues mentioned in previous reviews. Unley has a lot of average restaurants, so this place does stand out. It can be a little more expensive than some other Thai places but the food is better.
Just a perfect place to eat authentic thai food!! Good taste, fresh ingredients, flavourful sauce!! I had ordered for crispy fish and fried rice which was really tasty!!must try for thai cuisine fanatics!!

They was talking in thai even I do not understand I could feel they was not happy. After 10 minutes, the staff took the noodle soup out from the kitchen. The tom yum chicken noodle soup looked yummy, however 2/3 was sprout few noodle in the bowl. Not worth of coming back with poor customer service!
My friend took me here with the disclaimer that while the food was good, the service was a bit lacking. It's not that bad though - just perfunctory. I've certainly had worse where asking for table water felt akin to insulting the staff's family. Anyway bring good conversation, your patience and appetite. You'll find the food is worth the wait.
Pi Ra Thai is a small restaurant that delivers big on taste. Since moving to the area we have enjoyed takeaway from here every Friday and have almost managed to eat our way through the menu. So far, we have not come across a bad dish.
