I attended a Citizenship Ceremony at Riverside Theatre and had a fantastic experience. The event was very well organized by the NSW Government and Parramatta Council. View all feedback.
Celebrating an important ,milestone for the Lady of our home, as a family we decided to do the Showboat. We are glad we did. I have been on the harbour with various groups and on other restaurant boats. This trip proved to be best thus far. We like the ambience, the set-up, the Welcome and the seating. We had a Table to ourselves, the six of us. The cruise was nice and with all the lights of Sydney and the Harbour it was thrilling. The Food was good but tad cold as they had to serve it all out and had a lot of plates to put out. Guess it stayed in kitchen wee bit long. The Show was not bad and did entertain us. Well, the Lady enjoyed the cruise, dinner and show and of course her birthday! Well Done Showboat. We will do this again.
Hopeless in service and food.We boarded at Darling harbour only to be seated by someone who had limited english and waited for 20 mins to get a drink. We were told by the ticketing office thatour ticket covered all wine and beer but when we finally got served it was for a wine range that I wouldn't even use to cook with. The beer was also cheap and nasty. The entree was horrid, with the chicken being so old we couldn't chew it and the other bits on the plate had no flavour. The main course ( we had chicken ) was a half chicken breast on a spoonful of mashed potato with 3 carrots sticks. The woman beside me had a veal cutlet that was cold with 10 peas. Not what you would call a good dining experience. We finally departed from Darling harbour after these courses and as the boat stopped at Circular Quay, we decided to get off as we couldn't see the experience getting any better.
We love this restaurant and its charming owner/manager, Sabria.
What a beautiful venue!! Have been here before but never reviewed this place. Went here again and attended the state ceremony. The venue is beautiful and right at the start of the eat Street. The theatre consists of three auditoriums with ample seating and a refreshment counter. Extremely friendly staff, will maintained theatres and really clean restrooms.
I watched Friends the Parody at the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta and had a great time. The parking wasn’t too far away and you get $10 off with your theatre ticket validation. The seating in the theatre wasn’t too bad. The seats were comfy and the view from every angle was ok.
