I have been working in Parramatta for over a year and today was introduced to the Honey Persian. Food was beautiful and fresh and very flavoursome. We chose a couple of meat dishes and some of the dips and shared. We then had baclava to finish. The staff/owners were really nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Although my mother is an amazing cook of Iranian cuisine, I occasionally like to dine out for some authentic dishes. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular Iranian restaurant was quite disappointing. They were out of their main starters, and the rice was served without butter, which made it dry. Honey Restaurant in Parramatta is one of my most favorite places to grab a bite to eat. The food is consistently great, the service is always first class and I have never left this restaurant disappointed whether i am eating alone or in a group. The owner is a top bloke and will look after you.
Wonderful and tasty food. Lovely staff and great experience. We had 9 people come for lunch and not one of us was not happy. Will be back soon.
We had an excellent meal here. The staff were very friendly. Will certainly go again. Highly recommended.
Popped in last Sunday morning at about 11:00, thinking we might only get to see the breakfast menu. The owner came out to greet us and said we coud have breakfast or lunch menu which was very nice at that time of the morning.I had the chicken and lamb with rice and the wife had the beef with rice. Meat was cooked brilliantly tender and the rice was not sticky or gluggy, which was good. We also ordered the sde dish of roasted eggplant dip - this was worth the visit by itself - really smoky and full of great flavour. The only thing to watch out for, they grill a chilli to put on the plate - it is DAMN HOT. Order the yoghurt side dish if necessary :)Absolutely no problems to recommend this place - will be back.
