I have been working in Parramatta for over a year and today was introduced to the Honey Persian. Food was beautiful and fresh and very flavoursome. We chose a couple of meat dishes and some of the dips and shared. We then had baclava to finish. The staff/owners were really nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant. This restaurant had some decent aspekte, but ultimately it was bland food that was not excessively warm. it is cheap for parramatta and now I understand why.
I had breakfast at this restaurant with my partner. We ordered a Persian omelette, halim with dips, and bread. The meal was delicious, the service was excellent, and they even gave us some complimentary pickles to enjoy with our food.
The meat wasn't very hot, but it was tender. The sauce was a bit dry and there was too much rice as a filler. The service was fast and friendly.
Although my mother is an amazing cook of Iranian cuisine, I occasionally like to dine out for some authentic dishes. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular Iranian restaurant was quite disappointing. They were out of their main starters, and the rice was served without butter, which made it dry. The presentation of the kebabs was not very appealing - a large plate with a huge amount of rice, a single kebab skewer, and half of a small roasted tomato. The entrees were also lackluster, with the Salad Shirazi lacking lemon juice and salt, and the smallest portion of Kashk Bademjoon. Additionally, when we visited for lunch on a Wednesday, they had run out of several items on the menu. Overall, I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.
A sit down restaurant with table cloths in the heart of Parramatta city that seems to offer Persian and Turkish food. Both the chicken and lamb kebabs were overcooked and dry and the accompanying saffron rice was not well seasoned so lacked flavour. The side...dishes of salad and baba ghanouj were very small portions although the baba ghanouj was tasty and the stand out dish. Portion sizes of the kebabs were sufficient but given poor quality to represented poor value overall
