While prices may be a bit high and service can be slow at times, the beer selection is worth a visit and the homemade desserts are outstanding. Their daily specials and attentive staff make it a perfect spot for a special occasion or casual dining. Customers rave about the prime rib, omelettes, pork tenderloin, and more. With a friendly and accommodating staff, The Log Cabin provides a lovely dining experience for all occasions.
I have visited Baselines on several occasions to spend time with our friend and his hockey team before or after their games at the nearby sports complex.
The restaurant had a strong smell of vinegar. The staff seemed unhappy, the service was lacking, and the food was not good. I will not be coming back.
The beer selection is worth a visit, and the food is tasty. However, the prices are a bit high. Be aware that a side of fries will set you back $7. The service was quite slow, so avoid this place if you're in a hurry.
Just off the highway. Decided to try it out instead of onroute. Best decision. Pickerel was awesome. Cooked perfectly. Lunch omelette was superb. Service was nice and friendly. Homemade desserts were over the top delicious! Will be back for certain!
Located on old Hwy 69 only 3 km south of Parry Sound, this unassuming property holds a surprise - great food, served with a smile. We struggled with the decision of what to order - between the list of daily specials, and the regular menu, there were so many attractive choices! The prime rib and the New York steak won out, and we were not disappointed. Hanna took good care of us, although the wait for food was longer than we expected - it seems the kitchen was a little backed up. We will be back soon.
