Contribute Feedback What Robert Popa Emil likes about Ruth's Chris Steak House - Parsippany:
Alexa was our server, she provided an excellent experience. Three of those Ty ordered the Classic menu. Dessert was included, although a smaller portion. I prefer this size that was served. I suggest adding this option to the menu. After a heavy meal of steak and potatoes, a smaller dessert option is more in line with the needs of older patrons. I also suggest being able to order the items only available in the bar a... View all feedback.
What bobby doesn't like about Ruth's Chris Steak House - Parsippany:
Waited way too long for server to come to table. We had to send steaks back, temperature was not right. Sides were cold, we celebrated a birthday and had to remind the waiter. View all feedback.
I had a delicious dinner with my mother and boyfriend at this restaurant. I am giving it four stars instead of five because, as a steakhouse, they should be better at getting the temperatures of the steaks correct. My mother and I ordered our steaks medium, but they came out rare. The food runner took them back to be cooked more, but they ended up overcooked. Despite this, the staff were all professional and kind. I had a great time chatting with the bartenders, as I am one myself, and reminiscing about my father's days working at Ruth's Chris. Overall, it was a sweet visit.
Last week, my friend Chas and I met up at the Ruth's Chris location in Parsippany, New Jersey. While Chas had been to a Ruth's Chris before, it was my first time. I was cautiously optimistic about our visit. I have tried many great steaks at various steakhouses across the country, but often find that I can make a similar steak at home. We started our meal with some cocktails. Chas ordered an Old Fashioned, so I decided to try a Manhattan for comparison. Typically a fan of Old Fashioneds, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Manhattan was better. A tip for Old Fashioned lovers - the bar inside the hotel next to the restaurant makes a good one. I didn't order an appetizer myself, but I sampled the Ruth's chopped salad and Lobster Bisque from my friends. The salad was creatively plated and had good flavors, while the Lobster Bisque was creamy with a strong lobster taste. Although I wouldn't personally pay for these appetizers, they were not bad at all. For our main course, Samantha and I shared the Porterhouse for Two, accompanied by fried potatoes and grilled asparagus for the table. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare and had a delicious buttery flavor. The grilled asparagus was decent, but nothing remarkable. For dessert, I tried the Ruth's Coffee, which was similar to the Cappuccino from Bern's Steakhouse in Tampa, Florida. It was a delightful drink that I would definitely order again. Dining at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is on the pricier side, but if the food and drinks are as good as they were during our visit, it's worth it. Overall, our experience at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse was very enjoyable.
My husband, brother-in-law, his wife, and I came to this restaurant for Valentine's Day weekend. The food, especially the crab cakes, was delicious, and the drinks were also quite good. We each had two drinks, three entrees, and two appetizers, and the bill came out to just under $500, which we were fine with. Overall, we had a great dining experience and would definitely come back. The only downside was the parking situation - there was no available parking anywhere, possibly due to the holiday weekend. The parking lot was packed because it is shared with the hotel, but it could have been because of the festive weekend.
Great service but it's over priced with average food. Virgin blueberry mojito is flat and barely mint flavor and over sweetened from blueberry syrup. NY stip has a lot membrane and tendons. Mushroom with stuffed crabmeat and Brussel sprouts with bacon are good. Overall, I was disappointed.
I came here for my birthday, and it was OK, all the hype around this place and I didn’t get it honestly. The service was very mediocre, my server Alexa was very overwhelmed. My margarita was great, my calamari was great but my crab cake was too fishy for my liking. My dinner I had the steak and the person I was with had the salmon with shrimp which they loved. My steak was amazing very flavorful but the lobster Mac and cheese was a Noo, the Brussels sprouts was great and the grautin was great as well. The cheese cake I got for free was a no for me. But I’m giving it 3 stars because the for such a hype it needs better service and my reservation was for 7:30 I was on time and ppl that came after me got seated before me. Would I go back yes but definitely not to this location. And the wait time for the food was ridiculous.
