This restaurant is in a converted cottage, so has a very homely atmosphere with friendly staff. It has an extensive menu, with very realistic prices. Although licensed, it also lets you BYO bottled wine. The meals are of a very consistant quality, and I have been t this restaurant many times over the years. Always a pleasant meal and a good time. We to the Penshurst Cottage tonight and had some really nice garlic bread. The entree was cold had to be returned. Had to ask twice for a drink to be served. Asked for some dinner plates to share a meal and they brought bread and butter plates. Family celebration
The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and the service is grreat. It is one of our favourite places for family dinners. Excellent place.
