We have dined at the VP for both lunch and dinner and have had really great experiences both times. The food is excellent and the service terrific. The view is A1 and worth the visit - even if you are simply having a glass of the Poplar Grove wine. It's not inexpensive however, so expect to spend some money on this meal. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Vanilla Pod Restaurant:
Booked an anniversary dinner at this beautiful winery restaurant. Million dollar views but uninteresting menu, long wait for dinner and the final insult, poorly prepared food. I could have cooked most of the menu items at a reasonable price and higher quality. I had dry halibut on a bed of cubed zucchini with soy sauce. We had dinner at the Vanilla Pod, during the period of time when the forest fires were creating a blanket of cloud of smoke over the lake, reducing long distance visibility. We enjoyed our meal, the halibut main course with oyster mushroom broth and salmon with potato salad were very good. The service was good too.
