We were disappointed for the second time with our Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The food was bland and lacked flavor. We decided to give it another chance, but we have ultimately decided that we will not be returning again.
The service at this restaurant was excellent, with attentive front of house staff who were clearly well-trained. The decor was very pleasant. However, the food was on the pricey side and not particularly memorable. The sliced white bread that came with the mussels was disappointing, and the burger was quite small. Overall, all portions were on the smaller side.
Everything was great - the Sunday roast was delicious, and it was a lovely afternoon spent with friends.

We’re a repeat customer and the Angel Hotel never disappoints. The food was excellent, the service always excellent and we sat in the bay window of the main restaurant which was lovely. Although busy, it felt relaxed and we came away thinking it had been perfect for Mum on Mothers Day. Many thanks
