Chilli King Chinese Restaurant - Perth

This hole in the wall serves up an extensive menu of Chinese cuisine for cheap. I went here on a recommendation from fellow backpackers. Definitely budget friendly.

We went there for dinner 2 nights in a row. The food was good. The garlic stir fry bok choy was fresh, crunchy & sweet. Braised beef brisket with potato was full of flavour. The waitress was amazing! She could handle a restaurant full of people! We were entertained by her efficiency. Good place to go.

Great spot for a bite on your own after work. There were 5 single men eating alone. Food is actually pretty good and great value. I really enjoyed my dinner in this very authentic little diner. The spring rolls were home made and the sweet and sour pork delicious. I would go back.

Very hard to find restaurant (not fastfood) during weekend in Perth. was recommended by a friend to try this. service is OK. attentive and quick. food was bit salty (tofu), bean was good and fresh and sweet-sour pork was crispy and good.

I went there last week with my wife and kids. By looking at the menu as it is with pictures we were very excited. I ordered cold noodles, kumpao chicken rice and maopo tofu.They put the crockery and cutlery on the table.Chops sticks were dirty.we ask to get them changed. After waiting for quiet a long time (was said 15 mins) i insisted them to bring at least the noodles. My wife gave some to my kid and while eating found a cockroach in the noodle, while called the wait staff she quickly removed the dish, instead of apologizing she whispered to my wife in Chinese she will not charge for the dish. Upon getting angry they end up saying this thing has happened for the first time in last two years since they open. when my wife post the same story on qq group of Perth. Quiet a few people commented that they found insects and cockroach in their food as well. Very very poor practice of food safety . I wonder how they pass the health inspection. Very poor sanitation and also poor customer care skills. We will not go there and wont recommend either.
