Jamie’s Italian was founded by Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, in Oxford, 2008. Since then it has grown to more than 60 restaurants worldwide, with plans for even more in towns, cities and countries around the world. For me, Jamie 's Italian is all about serving delicious and fresh antipasti produce, nibbles, hearty pasta, and also great Affogato. I was so happy when I spotted the 'Feed Me... View all feedback.
What Zorica Ćurić doesn't like about Jamie's Italian:
The weather was very wet outside when we showed up for our booking. It felt really busy for a Wednesday night. We quickly ordered and ended up waiting a very long time for the food. The chips were cold so we sent them back. The mains were dry and over cooked. Very disappointing. I then observed the kitchen as we were sitting right next to it. The kitchen was struggling to get food out and everyone was flustered. They... View all feedback.
I tried online for jamies. well ok I left it a little late, but could not book for Sunday afternoon, but the website said that some tables are reserved for walk-ins, so we just showed up and said that the waiting time was minutes. this was not a big problem because the restaurant is located in the heart of perth and they can easily browse the shops during an hour or visit a nearby coffee bar. we returned after a few minutes, just to ring to tell me that a table was ready.
There were no high expectations that arrived here, but for the pasta promo they had. both pastas were delicious and were a good value for money with the deal.
Very nice eating. has been a bit overdue to us that we have not ordered, offered to keep it and then bring us our pasta. So we had an additional meal at the end, which is beautiful.
The pasta is exceptional. the service is bad, the seats are uncomfortable, the fit is cheap, it is really loud. we will come back, but only because the pasta is so good
I went to Jamies with my partner and another couple and had a really great night. We ordered Barramundi, Snapper, Prawn linguini and another pasta and all were delicious.Pre dinner we had their polenta chips (yum) and nibbled on some olives.Couldn't fault the food at all but we were mainly impressed by the friendliness of manager Hayley, waitress Tyler and even said Hello to head chef Lucas. Most tables were full but that's the sign of a popular restaurant.Would recommend it for a good night out.
