We came in today for lunch, as a group of 4 + baby (highchairs - tick!), and we were well looked after from start to finish - our waiter was great with my baby too. We were never waiting on service, nor did we feel any pressure to place our orders quickly. Our drinks, bread and pizzas were served in good time and were tasty - my favourite was actually the rich mud cake dessert pizza. Overall, it was a fun, relaxed ou... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rise Pizza:
I dined with a friend at Rise Pizza for the first time on Sunday evening around 5.30pm and I won't be rushing back. From the moment we walked in from the moment we left, we had to wait to be served for everything! And the place was quietish! Firstly after waiting approx 20 mins, we asked for a menu. we then called someone over to take our order after waiting another 20 mins or more. Pizza came first... drinks nowhere... We dined here on a Saturday evening and while busy, the service was efficient and very friendly. Whether you want an off the shelf Pizza option or to create your own bespoke pizza you have lots of choice. Pizza toppings include both the expected and the unusual, I opted for a Pork Belly pizza (a first for me to see on a menu) and it was excellent. They also do a good pasta dish based on my wife's meal. The view is excellent, raised up you look over the beach and out into the Indian Ocean making it a popular destination for sunset and the view in the evenings really doesn't let you down.
We dined as a group of six. Loved the friendly and casual atmosphere. the food was outstanding and delicious. The service was very good and the restaurant owner added to the experience by being friendly and willing to accommodate any requests. loved it and will be back soon.

Pizza came first... drinks nowhere to be seen until we asked for them again. And at the end of the meal, we chose coffees to still be waiting 30mins, and staff cleaning up tables around us asked if we wanted anything further. Yes, our coffees!!!Without a doubt this is the poorest service I have received... anywhere! Rise Pizza has given me nothing to want to return for!A very disappointing first visit.
A mild autumn late afternoon, no wind, stunning sunset over City Beach and a delightful shared meal of Seafood marinara pizza. We enjoyed a thin based tasty pizza in this new restaurant Very happy staff, food and drinks came very quickly ad the pizzas are made from scratch as you watch. The restaurant became quite noisy and families started arriving but that hardly detracted from the location and the food was very tasty. We did leave though and went somewhere quiet for coffee but I would go back
