What Kiwi rua doesn't like about Taka:
Fifty metres from our apartment hotel. What could go wrong? S couldn’t finish her tasteless teriyaki chicken, the tea was cold, my fish was paper thin between a hard batter. This is the kind of school canteen cafe with very cheap meals and where they have to lock the restrooms. The young backpackers (mostly Asian) seemed to be having a great time. I came here with my friends in 2010. One of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever had. Although I remember coming here at lunchtime, it was so crowded that I had to wait, but overall it was good.
Assorted Sushi is an excellent value for money. Tasty and fresh. Can't beat it
Amazing food and great service at the lowest price I have seen in the city after living here 5 months. I love being able to have lunch and watch the people in traffic go by, though it is a bit noisy at times as there is no barrier between kitchen and dining areas.
