I really liked this place. All you can eat was cheap, service fast and food very delicious. This place is particularly good for those in a tight budget who want to eat. View all feedback.
What Estell Hoppe doesn't like about Aji Sai:
All you can eat japanese resto has great food. Good varieties, fresh food but the service is horrible.!!! Two lady servers were very rude. I have asked a few questions since this was my first time dining in this restaurant and the way they responded makes me want to walk out of the restaurant. I feel like i owe them for coming in to their restaurant. View all feedback.
I tried all the all you can eat Japanese restaurants in Peterborough. I like Aji Sai the best among the all you can eat. They bring out the food fast. Their tempura is very good, not greasy, not doughy. They sometimes forget to bring the food you order. So track what you receive and do not order the same thing twice only because you have not received it. You will get the two orders together when you're already full!
...This place Puts ads in the local paper saying they have new women available, with the same address as Aji Say because its the same people that are sin the massage parlour next door and thats all one business, very gross!! Bon appetite!
First time going, thought I would try the lunch and first impression was the booth we were seated in was a little dirty on the wall at the end of the booth. Looked a little out dated and kind of grubby. The service and the sushi was good, I tried a few things but didn't go into depth with there menu. We tried some of the idems from the kitchen menu and didn't mind the rice and the sesame chicken and the teriyaki shrimp and chicken but the veggies had no flavor at all. Over all I've tried lots of different places but I think I will give this one a pass, I didn't feel well after I ate there.
So i had just got my pay and wanted to treat me and my boyfriend to some japanese food. the place looks intriguing from the outside and when you first step in, it seems really great. unfortunately i cant say much for after we were seated... sure from a distance the decor and cleanliness seems great but when we got to our booth it was an entirely different thing. the walls were dirty like a kid had splashed something on the wall and they didnt clean it, but we decided ok maybe the food was better... wrong. other than the teriyaki shrimp, japanese fried rice and teriyaki chicken everything else we ordered was sorely lacking. this is what we ordered:teriyaki chickenjapanese fried riceteriyaki shrimpsweet and sour chickenshrimp tempuracrab tempurasesame chickenchicken wingsmixed vegetablesasorted sushiand here are my complaints about the food:sweet and sour chicken was lacking in flavor, light sauce, barely any actual chicken.shrimp tempura lacking flavor.crab tempura cheap crab meat you can buy at any grocery store, barely any actual tempura.chicken wings lacking flavor sauce was ok.mixed vegetables very tart, bland.sushi was ok.now i will say that service was quick and attentive other than getting my rice really late in the meal when i was almost done my meal. another complaint i have is the horrible washroom condition, i was actually to grossed out to even use it. in the end i left feeling like i wasnt going to be able to eat anything else all day because my lunch had just ruined my appetite.my conclusion is 1. i would never be returning there again and 2. that even if a place looks great on the outside dosnt mean you shouldnt check the reviews online first.
All you can eat so some things missing from menu but it was tasty and well presented. Bathrooms were horrid
