Contribute FeedbackThis restaurant offers a mix of experiences, with some reviewers enjoying the stunning decor and delicious food, while others were less impressed. The service received mixed reviews, with some noting long wait times while others found the staff attentive. The food quality varied, with highlights such as lobster-filled mushroom and Gorgonzola pasta, as well as delicious appetizers. While some enjoyed the atmosphere and service, others found the prices too high or the dishes oversalted. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential, but consistency in both food quality and service may be an area for improvement.
I fell in love with the deck when I went into the door, from the wall treatment to the draped fabric it created a beautiful atmosphere. I felt like in toronto in one of the better institutions. bravo!
Oysters were a real tasty bite! definitiw one of the best restaurants in peterborough. a real gem.
Amazing restaurant, marty and shelby were amazing hostess and the selection of food was next to no one! perfect place for a fine eating in peterborough will definitely be back in the future!
Cocktails were amazing and we both enjoyed the fish
Bar Vita is a favourite destination for our family for a special occasion. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, lovely decor, and the live music on Friday evenings is an added bonus. Our server, Sydney, was friendly, just the right amount of attentive, personable and engaging. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The only thing I would mention about mine was the Caprese salad was made with sliced cherry tomatoes, small pieces of mozzarella and shredded basil. I would have preferred the traditional Italian Caprese with large slices of beautiful, ripe full-size tomatoes, large slices of buffalo mozzarella and full basil leaves. It has a more substantial mouth feel, and is aesthetically more pleasing.
