Cafe Michelangelo - Philadelphia

This is a restaurant that provided the most welcoming, part-of-the-family experience that I've had in quite a while. We had a large party (a family get together and were served buffet style, but that didn't stop the staff from checking in as often as staff bussing an ordinary table. The owner (manager? bringing out a tray of house-made limoncello and offering it to the (adult table was a little touch that made this a very, very praiseworthy spot. I recommend Cafe Michelangelo to anyone in the area. While the food may not blow you away as a traditional five-star restaurant, considering the place holistically makes it worthy of an easy fiver.

I enjoyed seeing my friends than the restaurant. Decor needs to be cleaned up. Exposed insulation is unsightly.

Comfortable, relax atmosphere. Looks like everyone around was enjoying themselves. The owner makes a point of getting around and greeting everyone. Service was attentive. Food was great. Four of us went for my wife's birthday and we all highly enjoyed it. Good portions, presented well. I'm looking forward to going back and trying the pizza, it looked really good.

The pasta was Fresh! Good variety on the menu. We'll be going back to try many more dishes!

Still some of the best pizza in the Northeast. Also fresh homemade pasta and killer pork chops and large portions! Extremely friendly bar staff!
