Complaints were lodged about slow service, mediocre food, dirty conditions, and lacking dessert quality. However, positive reviews praised the spacious outdoor patio, live music, and overall welcoming atmosphere. The owner's personal touch and attentive service were highlights for many customers. While some menu items received mixed reviews, the majority of guests found the food to be delicious and the portions generous. Overall, a reliable spot for a pleasant dining experience.
This is a restaurant that provided the most welcoming, part-of-the-family experience that I've had in quite a while. We had a large party (a family get together and were served buffet style, but that didn't stop the staff from checking in as often as staff bussing an ordinary table. The owner (manager? bringing out a tray of house-made limoncello and offering it to the (adult table was a little touch that made this a very, very praiseworthy spot. I recommend Cafe Michelangelo to anyone in the area. While the food may not blow you away as a traditional five-star restaurant, considering the place holistically makes it worthy of an easy fiver.
The pasta was Fresh! Good variety on the menu. We'll be going back to try many more dishes!
Still some of the best pizza in the Northeast. Also fresh homemade pasta and killer pork chops and large portions! Extremely friendly bar staff!
Food, atmosphere, waitresses, all were terrific. Workers friendly, great place to eat.
