I did not eat a single bite of my short rib as it made my stomach feel queasy just looking at it. The photos I posted clearly show all the red meat and tons of fat on my short ribs. This type of meat should be slowly cooked for a long time hours and therefore should be brown throughout and most of the fat should be melted. What User dislikes about Twenty Manning Grill:
Neighborhood restaurant we used to eat here all the time. Then it got SOOOO noisy we gave up. It's still noisy, but opens at PM, which was what we needed. Unfortunately, it was an annoying experience. We sat and chatted over our drinks and were visited several times by our waiter, looking to take an order. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. Amazing food and service. The staff and especially our waitress Monica Was very friendly and knowledgeable. The ambience is very welcoming and charming. The chef was top notch.Parking: Parking near 21st& manning was abundant.
I recently got back from vacation to the Middle East and was questioning my choice of going to a Middle Eastern place in Philly, feeling it could never compare.....I was wrong! Everything we got was sooo flavorful and delicious. My favorite was the grilled eggplant mezze.They have a great happy hour too with drink and food specials that are so delicious!!
Went there for the first time for NYE dinner , and last Sunday for brunch. On both ocassions the food, drinks and service were great! Will be back for sure.
The ambience is really nice. Cocktails are 5/5- REALLY GOOD! However, the food is like a 2-3/5. My falafel sandwich and zaatar potatoes were both really dry. I didn’t enjoy it or finish it. Lacked flavor as well. I’d go again for the cocktails, but definitely not the food.
I have a little bit of time before work and naturally I'm going to spend this time writing a yelp review instead of working on a presentation I have next
