My family and I visited the restaurant to pick up some takeout, and we were pleased with the quality of the food—everything was fresh and flavorful. The place was clean, and the staff was very friendly. My only issue was that there were no utensils available for customers; while there were plenty of napkins and straws, the utensils were all out. It might just have been the time of day we chose to go that led to this... View all feedback.
What Cale Zboncak doesn't like about Chipotle Mexican Grill:
After waiting 20 minutes for my order, I finally received our bag, but it was packed poorly, causing spills and a mess. I had to ask for our fountain drinks since no one offered them to us, despite having ordered them. To top it off, I was informed that they didn’t have any kid-sized chip bags. If that was the case, why not provide an alternative snack? I had to specifically ask for them.

I also requested a larger bag to keep our food from spilling, but they claimed they didn’t have any available. Overall, it was a truly disappointing experience. The staff moved slowly and seemed indifferent to the fact that orders were falling behind.
To start, the mobile ordering system was down, and I spent five minutes waiting for my order status without any progress. When I went inside, I quickly realized that coming back was a mistake. I was greeted by a messy atmosphere and a cluttered utensil station. I waited another five minutes to be served, as the employees appeared overwhelmed with their tasks. Finally, I was informed that the mobile ordering wasn’t functioning and was offered a refund. Deciding to stay since I was already there, I stood in line and could overhear other customers expressing their frustration. As I observed people leaving, I initially thought they were being overly particular. However, I soon understood the exasperation as the line moved slowly with more than half of the ingredients looking unappetizing. The staff seemed disinterested and just wanted to get through the day. I had to piece together my order from ingredients I normally wouldn’t choose. When I finally got to eat my burrito, it was cold and the tortilla was tough. I chose steak, hoping it would be fresh since it had just come out of the kitchen, but that wasn’t the case. This restaurant is in urgent need of higher-level management. Clearly, local supervision isn’t enough to address these issues, and the staff would greatly benefit from proper guidance. My last visit was just after they opened for the day, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but it was still a disappointing experience.
Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered two dishes with extra sauces and rice, but I received only half a bowl without the extras, and the meat was burnt! The steak and chicken bowl looked like it had been picked at, as if the staff had eaten half of it and served me the leftovers. The employees seemed more like children who were more interested in chatting and laughing than actually doing their jobs. Chipotle corporate, please take action! This is not how we want our dining experiences to be remembered.
This place is absolutely anxious and disgusting my eating sat on the counter for 10 minutes do nothing that no one would pay me out. And I ordered chickens not to let sit on the square was a chaos eating everywhere thrown and nothing was piled at an evening meal. a dinner rush! that is the time they don't want to make the money the coworkers want to work and best believe that imma take it with business because this whole facility is completely unacceptable
I've been to this location several times, so this isn't a one-off review of this particular restaurant. This is by far the worst Chipotle that I've ever been to regarding order accuracy, portion size, food quality, and service. If you order online, do not expect to have anywhere near an accurate amount of food delivered to you. On a few occasions, the staff forgot to add paid sides to my order. The food quality and taste at this location is subpar at best and unbelievably bad at worst. I once ordered a chicken bowl for delivery. When did arrived at my house and I removed the lid, I was concerned because the meat did not resemble anything on the menu, let alone chicken. I was so repulsed I could not eat it.Until my dying day, I will never set foot in the McKnight Road Chipotle location. Unfortunately, there is not a way to blacklist it for delivery orders. So I guess I'll just have to pick up instead. Luckily there is a much better location up the street in McCandless.
