I ate at Cinco my first day in Playa and there were so many options it was hard to just decide on one. I had a delicious Mexican omelette with Oaxaca cheese and the most savory hash brown i've ever had. I also tried their guacamole which had just the right amount of lime in it, it was so tasty. I love Thompson restaurants. Being a HUGE fan of both Catch and C-Grill I figured that Cinco would be just as incredible, sadly, I was wrong. I went for brunch. The dish was insipid and the cocktail (which was recommended by the waiter) was poor in taste too. Si lo quie quieres es una buena vista en un ambiente relajado con excelente servicio desayuna/almuerza en cgrill la comida es muy rica el menu no es muy extenso pero para las porciones son bastas, fuimos a celebrar a una amiga y #majo nos hizo un mega detalle para ella, le encanto mil mil gracias por los detalles
He visitado tres veces este sitio. Siempre gran comida y experiencia. He desayunado, Comido y Cenado. Siempre bueno y con muy buenas opciones. El servicio de las Meseras deja normalmente un poco que desear, pero su amabilidad puede disculpar su falta de experiencia. En desayuno probé un huevo en cazuela con ratatouille espectacular, para el lunch tienen varias opciones buenas, ceviches y otras cosas.PAra la cena es muy agradable el concepto inspirado en la cocina griega todo al grill con muy buenas opciones
I can't say enough about the warm friendly professional bellman Oscar Ramirez. He will escort you safely to anywhere on 5th ave, greets you with a smile, and will give the best advice for an honest taxi. Pablo at the beach house...you can't get a better waitstaff on this planet!!! He's professional anticipates your needs, is there but not overbearing, and serves with his heart. Omar at the bar at the hotel portion is just a great bartender and super friendly. Charlie at the front desk will help resolve your issues professionally and with a smile and provides excellent customer service. I can't remember everyone's name but all the staff is amazing. I'll be returning in September again for a birthday celebration. Thompson PDC, you do it right!
This is the place to be!! Staff was great. The food is amazing not to mention the pool side roof top view to add for a memorable experience
Thompson hotel was outstanding. The service was amazing. We stayed at the beach (incredible rooms) but spent a good part of the days a few blocks away at their other roof top pool. Amazing food. Catch restaurant is a must! The DJ's were amazing! The tequila tasting every night at 6 was terrific. Staff were very knowledgeable! I will be going back to the Thompson Hotel next year!
