I wanted to get here for awhile. Today made the effort. Big lineup & short wait. Excellent meals- nicely prepared & artistic presentation. Check out Fruit Magic. I had beef skillet with 2 beef, potato, mushrooms & yummy sauce. Due to overflow, meal was bit slow. Did not arrive until my 2nd cup of coffee, but well worth it. Very delicious. So much colour and talent in this fun restaurant!! Some serious talent in fruit carving here!! We stopped for breakfast on a Sunday at 8:30am, when we left an hour later there was a lineup at the door! Oversized portions that were so beautifully designed! The 4 of us each had a different dish and they were all excellent! We will all be back again. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Quality meets quantity all the time. Fast service and good food. They could put more jams in the plate
Cora Visit Review 19 July 2017For years as we passed by Cora often, I had the misconception that Cora was a very small venue and that it served mainly fruit salads! I was wrong. Looking for a new place for lunch, I checked online yesterday and found that Cora in Coquitlam has an EXTENSIVE menu, offering MANY items that we old folk (at age 78 this year) would enjoy. Upon entering the restaurant we were shocked at the size of it plus the number of staff buzzing around all the customers on Wednesday around 1:30 PM. Our server, Holly, was a delight... mannerly, helpful, cheerful, attentive and at the same time relaxed. She helped us with ordering and our food arrived promptly. The egg salad sandwich with artistically arranged fresh fruit and the chicken salad sandwich with cream of broccoli soup were delicious and filling. The price was very reasonable and we will be returning often as there are so many items that we want to try and are sure we'll enjoy. Thank you Cora and staff!
Taking everything into consideration, it's hard to beat Cora's for breakfast. There is ample parking and if you time it right, the line up isn't too long but the turnover is quick so you never wait that long. The menu covers anything you could want for breakfast and the food is served quickly. The servers are very friendly and eager to please. Definitely worth trying to see for yourself.
