Dover Dairy Bar - Port Dover

We had to wait far too long to pay the bill. After several (5? minutes standing at the counter (that's where you pay at the Dairy Bar I sat down and asked the server to take my money. She refused and directed me to get back in the line and wait to pay there. If they wrote the prices/amount down, or totaled the bill, we could've left the money with the bill...like every other restaurant. We were late for our next appointment because we had to wait so long to pay.

The food here is solid. The servers are great. The washrooms need attention. Everything is functional but they need a plumber to come in and get the toilets to stop wobbling and seal around the bottom.

Never again. It took 45 mins for our food. I asked for gluten free toast and gluten free home fries as I have a gluten intollerance. The food finally came, the home fries were not gluten free. I told the server, she did offer to switch them, I told her not to bother, that I can't have anything on that plate due to cross contamination. 2 minutes later she brought me a whole new plate. Coffee, we asked for a refill, that took 25 mins to get, while we watched another server go to specific tables refilling theirs. We did ask our server, she never brought any, nor did she visit our table after taking our order.
