Contribute Feedback What Alta Dietrich doesn't like about M & Y Restaurant:
Chinese restaurant located downtown Port McNeil. There is not much to the restaurant and is not appealing from the street and as we stepped in the restaurant we almost turned around. The friendly reception and service is what kept us in to eat. We each ordered the meal for one. The generous portion plates were delivered in about 15 minutes. Absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever had!! Gravy on the dried out Almond Chicken??? Chow Mein was dried out spaghetti with no flavour! Complete waste of money!!!
A small group of us ordered a bunch of different things to share and none of them really impressed us. Most of the dishes had barely any meat/vegetables and were instead pretty much all rice. Quality was bad and the taste was poor. Will not be returning.
I ordered dry garlic spareribs. It is tasteless! The meat is dry & I can also tell the meat has been frozen for a long time. The cook is Chinese & so is the lone wait staff/cashier but the food is not authentic.
