Love this bar!! The people were so mice and sweet, recommended the good Rosé for me. Only here for drink but they are pretty busy in night. It’s kid friendly for sure, and there is a pool you may play with. View all feedback.

Nice local pub of Port Melbourne. Exactly what you’d expect a pub to be. We sat outside which is dog friendly and there was a nice surprise with table service! We went on a steak special night which was $20. I asked for mine rare with garlic butter and red wine jus. It was a porterhouse came out slightly medium rare but was still very tasty. We went here for lunch two weekends back before going into the rugby.. we went in because of the advertising of all the craft beer out the front.. we were not disappointed, its fair to say we tried a fair few different options. If we...weren't sure of options we were given a little try!! The barman on was by himself but he was winning at life!! We ended up having a furphy and burger, it was good, went well together and left us feeling satisfied.. service and beer alone makes this easy to recommend high!!

We came down for good beer week and attended the PA for the Moon Dog brewing degustation. The atmosphere was pumping and food was delicious. The new owners are doing a fantastic job at making this quaint little pub a happening place on Bay Street. Can't wait to head back there again on my next trip to Melbourne.

Happy courteous bar and wait staff...tasty meals...and complimentary mothers day flowers. What's not to like about this refurbed local, we have discovered. Will be back to try the $10 curry lunch in near future. Keep up the good work.

So...in my time as a Melbourne resident, PA's has change hands a few times. In 2012 the guys that owned it, they were pretty good, without being exceptional.Having moved away from Port to St Kilda I had no need to come back until just recently. The new owner, Tom, albeit a banana bender, really knows his stuff. He is a switched on publican who knows what punters want.Quality food, great specials, a tap list that doesn't bend over to the large corporates, AND LIVE MUSIC.Seriously, forget everything you know (knew!) about the old PA's and get back in here and try the new, drastically improved PA's. You will not regret it.
