Contribute FeedbackIn the heart of the city, this family-owned Thai restaurant boasts a range of experiences from diners. While many rave about the exceptional food, such as the standout fried rice and curry puffs, others share disheartening tales of poor service and mishaps, like incorrect orders and long waits. A welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and quality meals have created loyal patrons, yet recent reviews indicate a decline in consistency. With nostalgic memories juxtaposed against recent disappointments, diners are left grappling with whether to return. Ultimately, it remains a culinary landscape rich with potential, albeit with some pitfalls.
I recently tried takeout from this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Khao Phad (Thai fried rice) with chicken, beef, and shrimp, and it was delicious! The fried short grain rice was perfect and topped with fresh cucumber and tomato. I was able to get the same chicken sauce I enjoyed in Thailand and marinated Thai chili peppers. Just a tip, only pour the juice from the peppers on the food to evenly spread the heat. It brought back memories of my time in Thailand, where I ate nothing but Thai food for 4½ months and loved it. While you can't get a bowl for $1 like I did from street vendors in Thailand, dining here was still worth it and I will definitely be coming back.
My first time dining at this restaurant and I was very pleased with everything. The service was excellent, the meal was served for dinner, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, receiving a perfect 5 rating in each category.
The service at this restaurant was excellent, but I was disappointed by the small portion of food I received for the price. This was a take-out meal for lunch, costing between $20 to $30 per person. The food was rated a 2 out of 5, while the service received a 5 and the atmosphere a 4. The Pad Thai dish is recommended.
