Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant offers amazing views but disappoints with the quality of food. Customers complained about burnt steaks, poorly made mushroom soup, and overpriced, limited menu options. In contrast, some diners had a fantastic experience with delicious escargot and filet mignon, complimenting the marinated zucchini and tasty dipping sauce. The restaurant's cozy ambiance and traditional French cuisine left a positive impression on some patrons. The owner's interaction and sense of humor added to the overall dining experience. Despite mixed reviews, loyal customers appreciated the consistent quality of food and exceptional customer service provided by the owner and staff. Pot au Feu has been a favorite for many years, offering exceptional French dishes, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back for more.
Visited Pot au Feu for the first time on a recent Friday to experience their Restaurant Week menu.
I was really excited to go hereI'm half French so I was looking forward to my Steak et FritesFor $25, I was expecting it to be great.
I went for dinner tonight and decided to try their Bouillabaisse The service is very good Prompt, attentive, friendly.
My daughter and I had heard that this restaurant has great food and a wonderful view of Vancouver and it definitely was true on both counts. The wedge salad was a wonderful mix of sweet and salty, the prawn cocktail was perfectly done with a spicy dipping sauce and the served bread was warm and delicious. The service from all people working there was professional and accommodating. The view of the city was beautiful. I will make this restaurant a "must do" on my next visit.
Food was great but disappointed that we weren't seated outside as we had made the reservation days ahead and phoned the morning of to request this.
