We went for my son's birthday, our first time but it won't be the last! The food was outstanding from the buffalo dip cheesy, spicy goodness, the craft cocktails I had the cranberry seasonal sangria and my son had the raspberry rickey, to the large entrees (the short ribs were out of this world with lots of leftovers). The wait staff were attentive and the decor very cool. We will definitely be back! View all feedback.
What Violette Weimann doesn't like about Red Stripe:
Disappointed they did not have the lobster roll after receiving several emails about it. Apparently they never got their shipment. Will call next time to confirm it is available. Also, would appreciate to have bread served with red sauce dishes and mussels for dipping. View all feedback.
We had an amazing meal, the artichokes are always our favorites wise to start our dinner in red stripe. the heavy fish was divine and my man enjoyed his fish and chips! we sat on the way so that the sound was not a problem for us! the highlight of the night was the service Eric provided. he is a wonderful man, friendly, thoughtful, thorough and a real jewel!
Service was excellent and meals were enjoyed. This fish and chips is fantastic and of course you canât beat the mussels.
They have come weekly and love it until last night experience. perhaps a bad night, but to get there at 16 o'clock and the only 2 people there was strange (together 6-28-22.) two waitresses at the bar with bartender we asked to sit on windows - I guess the waitress that treated this section was not yet. watch the menu and waited for 15 minutes for our waitress to come, the other 2 stood in the bar that observed us. burst order and drinks really came fast food was great, but no waitress or someone came back depending on eating. finally went to the man standing in front of kitchen texts (I think the manager) and asked if he could find someone to get our bill. he asked who our waitress was and I look and all 3 (our and the 2 of the bar) stand in front of the kitchen see something on the phone. our waitress took over the leak and said how was everything? classic! 20 minutes ago when we were finished and no worries that we didn't want to drink or water to wash it and thank you for finding someone so we can pay. we are great drinking money and were unfortunately not last night. hopefully only a bad night. we will give him another shot as we usually love him and usually have a good service.
Love the ambience and atmosphere, the food is delicious- the artichoke appetizer is very unique, and I had probably one of the best Manhattans I've ever tasted! My only qualm is the fake flowers on the tables (tacky) and their use of plastic straws was a disappointment but other than that this place is top notch!
As always, the food and service was great!! Our favorite PVD restaurant!!
