What Omar C doesn't like about La Posta:
Tourists, BE AWARE of this restaurant! Not coming back again. 1. We gave a very good tip to the server, but he came back and asked for even more tip, and said This is how things are in Vallarta, so get used to it 2. They charged an additional tax to the total amount which in Mexico is NOT LEGAL. All food on the menu includes the tax already. If a hamburger is 100 pesos, you pay 100 pesos only. We ate at La Posta 3 times during our stay in Puerto Vallarta. First time was pizza—excellent! Second time was a full, wonderful dinner—again, excellent! The third time was for the dessert we didn’t have room for on the second visit. The apple streusel and chocolate cake were delicious but the surprise was the Irish Coffee! It was such a delight to watch the table side preparation and then drink the lucious concoction! Everything about La Posta is top-notch—especially the warm, welcoming staff. And the memorable view out the first floor windows at sunset is truly a bonus. Til next time….
Enjoyed a lovely supper here. Seated on the terrace and Gustavo our waiter was fantastic with his service and recommendations! We had the bruschetta appetizer to start and shared the lobster and pasta main entree with fresh bread and it didn’t disappoint! Definitely check this place out while your in PV!
This was our restaurant meal of this trip to Mexico, and it was perfect. This place has a gorgeous view of the sunset, or a lovely terrace in the back which is a very comfortable spot to lounge for a meal. We had pasta, salad, pizza, and a sandwich between our group, and everything tasted incredible. The service was awesome as well; friendly, quick, and helpful. We are glad we went!
Had a great drink and wine menu. Juan was our waiter and did a fantastic job. Food was great and tasted amazing. We had there trio bruschetta, Speghetti pomadoro, and a margaritas pizza. The dessert was good. If you are in downtown PV this is a must try restaurant.
