It's true - Los Arbolitos is reopened. Just as good as we remembered it - perhaps even better. A jem of a location with a view over the river and it's like you are miles out of the city. Toda una gama de comida Mexicana se que debido a una desgracia familiar se cerro temporalmente pero si lo volvieron a abrir se los recomiendo el sazón de la familia es exquisito !!! Saludos para la encargada !!!
When we ascended the stairs to the third floor of Los Arbolitos, we couldn't believe the amazing view. Our table overlooked the the flowering trees along the river across the street. We could hear the water as it flowed out to sea. Jorge very graciously sat us and informed us we should try the best margaritas in town, so we did. They were very good especially as we chomped on our chips and guacamole. We both ordered lobster. They were grilled perfectly and came with delicious vegetables and rice. Jorge noticed us enjoying the music and informed us it he who was singing it! Some years back he was in the music business. He proceeded to grab a guitar and sing a few songs. His voice is still quite good!We really liked this place, the food and ambiance were all very nice, but we were the only people enjoying it! It is festively decorated and the bar area is charming. It was a Monday night and the restaurant is off the beaten track, so we hope they can stay afloat while they rebuild their clientele.Definitely worth it to make it to this unique and festive restaurant...we will go back before we leave!

Worth the walk - and if you don't order the Tortilla Soup, you are missing out.
After reading all the reviews we decided to go to this place. It is a little out of the way but well worth the walk! You are greeted by the owner Jorge. A nice and pleasant person whom you will find out later on is so multi talented. The restaurant has several floors. We sat on the upper floor with views of the river and valley. We were provided chips guacamole and pico de guio. Delicious. We ordered margaritas which were huge and really hit the spot. The menu has all kinds of Mexican specialties grilled carne Asada being one of them. We asked for something not on the menu but in the pictures here on trip advisor. We wanted the lobster and of course we got it. For about $20US we dined on delicious lobster with fresh vegetables baked potatoes rice and toasted bread. It was such a incredible meal. We inquired about dessert and order the house special. Ice cream and bananas flambé. Great dish. We thought we were done but Jorge came out with bottles of 'Mexican moonshine ' for us to do some shots. Completely on the house. He also grabbed his guitar and sang a couple of songs. His music was playing. Pretty good singer. Recommend this place to everyone. So friendly and warm plus great food.
